Live Mic is now permanently residing the the Independant Republic of glasnost. You can find us on the Emoclew Road, Arklow.

If you are coming northbound on the N11 take the exit for Arklow South after the Apple garrage there is a round about go left off the round about.... Glasnost is at the top of that road... on the left hand side beside Bolands hardware. There is a big green gate. we are in the barn to the left as you enter the yard..

coming south bound on the N11 pass arklow north exit and continue to Arklow South. and follow the above instructions.

Sewing classes

Revamp your wardrobe and learn how to do those alterations yourself!

Redecorate your home at the lowest cost to you... Soft Furnishing, cushions, curtains and throws...

Creative decorative craft... Quilting and other crafts

Learn how to do basic sewing machine work. Make curtains, alter clothes to fit better or completely revamp old clothes and much more. workshops lead by professional dress maker Mary Hurley.  Beginner to advanced levels catered for. 

Cost: 10 euro per night (2 hour sessions) Each term is 6 weeks long and payment  of 60 euro is needed upfront.

Knitting classes

Kids and adult knitting classes. basic to advanced. Learn how to follow knitting patterns, choose needles and wool types and create the perfect yarned fashion item.

Classes start Tuesday April 6th  4 - 6 pm (TBC)

Wednesday NIghts from 7pm - 10pm

kids and adult chess club organised chess challenges.

Wing Chun (TBC)

Martial arts patterns to relieve stress. First 2 patterns only.

Life Drawing

Master the Art of drawing the naked human figure in all its beauty.

These sessions are professionally run and cater for the beginner to the advanced. Own materials required.

Sessions are 2.5 hours long and include 2 15 minute breaks for the model. Both mail and female models are available.

terms must be paid for in advance and last 6 weeks.

Imaginative Composition

Develop your ability to paint amazing 'from the mind' creations using acryilics and canvas and involving methods of exploring ideas on paper and using other mediums.

Graffiti Project

We have a graffiti project ongoing and are looking for suitable candidates to help design and decorate the walls of the Market Cafe and Live Mic Arts Club (Coming soon :D)

Pole Dancing

Yes I did say pole dancing. Excersise muscles you have never used before with this exotic method of dance. open to women and men.
