Paddy Whacked Radio Review of Live Mic Weekender!

Those of you - myself included - who were unable to attend the Live Mic Weekender in Conary in May, featuring performances by Mark Dignam, Mark Geary, Brendan O’Shea, and Andrew Handrick, among others, will be pleased to learn that you can vicariously experience the concerts, the camping, and the fun on the official website, livemicgigs.com

WH WOODS SAFETY LTD.

HUGE thank you to Mr. Woods today. We had 8 fire extinguishers and some first aid kits and fire blankets at the gig in May which were VERY kindly on loan from WH WOODS SAFETY LTD. Beech Rd. Arklow. email: wwoods@eircom.net

Due to a few local messers and thankfully NOT a fire, there was 150 euro damage to the gear. Not only did Mr. Woods loan us the gear for free but also refused point blank to accept the money for the damage as the gig made a loss. On top of all this the gear was a month late being returned due to me not following up on the delivery....sorry!!!!!

Live Mic Weekender 2009 / Feedback

So the first Live Mic Weekender is indeed over. Judging by the feedback it was a roaring success. Fair enough the turnout wasn't enough to cover the costs or to encourage traders or therapists back again possibly but as a first time event with very low budget for promotion everything went outstandingly well and thanks to Pat (Barry :D) and Ivi, Bob, Michal, Chantel and Noel we have great coverage of the event, proof almost that it did actually happen, so a big thanks to everybody that took part.
